This equipment has the capability to operate multi technology tube inspections techniques such as ECT, IRIS, RFT, MFL, NFT, ECA, etc.,
Ectane 2’s speed and capabilities are harnessed by the complete data acquisition, analysis, and reporting software “Magnifi”.
Heat exchangers tube inspections use the above techniques which are suited to the exchangers based on tube diameter, thickness and material to enable / access the tube condition with providing details of discontinuities such as corrosion, cracking, pit, wall loss, etc..
Key pipe and tubing inspection applications include:
*material integrity (crack detection; thickness measurement; lamination detection)
*in-line weld inspection (welded tube; weld line defects)
*offline baseline inspection of heat exchanger tubing prior to installation
*post-installation baseline inspections
