The Pad eye tester is used to test pad eye installed onshore, offshore or any other suitable structures.
Pad eye tester is placed on the pad eye that is to be tested. The hand tight connections has to be made and Before applying the load the necessary safety precautions. Must be taken after the thorough examination the inspector/technician shall apply required pressure gradually by using a hand pump, hydraulic pressure shall be applied. Readings are measured from the Gauge Once the test is completed the pressure is gradually reduced by the knob to reach the pressure rating zero.
